This study aims to evaluate the profit-sharing system implemented by fishermen in Raja Village based on the mudharabah principle in Islamic economics. The research employs a qualitative approach through interviews and observations with fishermen and boat owners. The results indicate that the profit-sharing ratio of 60:40 aligns with mudharabah principles, where the boat owner bears operational costs and financial risks, while fishermen contribute labor and skills. The system is considered fair and transparent but faces significant challenges due to the uncertainty of catch results caused by external factors such as weather and sea conditions. It is recommended to implement written contracts to enhance transparency and reduce potential conflicts, along with periodic evaluations and increased understanding of the mudharabah concept among fishermen and boat owners to ensure the system's sustainability and compliance with sharia principles.
