Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and workers in economic development in North Luwu Regency. This regency has great potential in local economic development through the empowerment of MSMEs that can absorb labor significantly. The approach used in this study is quantitative, with data collection techniques through surveys of respondents consisting of MSME actors and workers. The sample was selected using the purposive sampling method. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression, as well as statistical testing through the T test to test the effect of each variable partially, and the F test to see the effect simultaneously. The results of the study indicate that both MSMEs and workers have a positive role in driving regional economic development. These findings indicate that strengthening the MSME sector and improving the quality of the workforce are strategic steps in accelerating inclusive and sustainable economic growth at the local level.
