Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of efforts to improve learning media on the long jump ability of the fifth grade students of UPT SD Negeri 201 Mattirowalie, West Malangke District, North Luwu Regency. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the research subjects totaling 21 students of Class V UPT SD Negeri 201 Mattirowalie, West Malangke District, North Luwu Regency. Data were collected by making observations and field notes. The results of the study show that the average value of students in pre-action activity I, the percentage of completeness is 38.10%, which is not completed, 61.90%. Meanwhile, the condition in Pre-action II Cycle I experienced an increase in the average value of the completeness percentage of 47.61%, while the incomplete percentage of completeness was 52.38%. However, this increase has not yet reached the previously set target. Then after continuing to cycle II the average value of the long jump of students again experienced an increase in mastery of 90.47 and students who did not complete only 2 students with a percentage of 9.52%, namely 2 students. This shows that the predetermined target has been achieved so that the research is stopped in cycle II. Keywords: Learning media, long jump ability
