Abstract
ABSTRAK : The existence of BUMDes is expected to be able to drive economic activity in the village which also functions as a social and commercial institution. BUMDes as a social institution contributes to the provision of social services to the community, while as a commercial institution BUMDes aims to increase village income by seeking profit. This study aims to determine the effect of Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in increasing economic growth in Rompu Village, Masamba District, North Luwu Regency. The independent variable in this study is village-owned enterprises (BUMDes) while the dependent variable is village economic growth. The analytical method used in this study is a simple linear regression method. The results showed that the tcount value was 3.129 and the probability value (sig t) was 0.002. Because the tcount value is 3.129 > ttable 0.203 and the probability (sig t) is 0.002 < 0.05, it can be concluded that BUMDes has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in Rompu village, Masamba district, North Luwu regency. Keywords: village-owned enterprises, village economic growth
