Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of People's Business Credit (KUR) on the Profitability of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Palopo City (Case Study of Bank Bri). The types and sources of data used are quantitative data. The population of this research is all MSMEs that use KUR funds in 2021 totaling 421 and the sample is determined using a purposive sampling technique consisting of two criteria. The data analysis of this research is simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of simple linear regression analysis shows that KUR has a positive and significant effect on the profitability of MSMEs in Palopo City, it shows that the t value is 6.914 > 2.010, and the significance level is 0.00 where the significant level is smaller than the significant level = 0.05. The results of this study support previous research conducted by (Hasan, 2019) that the provision of KUR has a positive and significant effect on the profitability of MSMEs at PT.
