Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the effect of resistance band training on shooting accuracy at SMP Negeri 8 Palopo extracurriculars. This research is a quantitative research with the experimental method defined as a method used to find the effect of certain treatments on others under controlled conditions. The population used in this study was extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 8 Palopo totaling 20 students. The sample is 20 active extracurricular students. The sampling technique in this study is total sampling. Data analysis techniques using the SPSS application program version 23. The results showed that there was an effect of resistance band training on the ability to shoot accuracy at SMP Negeri 8 Palopo extracurriculars, with a t = calculated value of 15.682, this value was greater than t = table 2.093 or t = calculated 15.682 > t = table 2.093 and the results sig . (2-tailed) namely 0.000 <0.05. This means that there is a significant effect of resistance band training on the ability of shooting accuracy in extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 8 Palopo.
