Abstract

Based on the results of obsevation at SMAN 10 LUWU, there were still some studends who had learning outcomes of chest pass operands in basketball subject which were under the KKM. Due to the low ability of students to perfom chest pass passes, the researcher aimed to improved the basic technical skills of chest pass operads in basketball subject using audio-visual media. The research applied classroom action research (CAR). Data collection consisted of four stages, namely planning, implementing actions, ovserving and reflecting. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of direct tests in the room and in the field starting from skills, attitudes, and knowledge. Based on the data for each cycle and discussingof the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of audio-visual media in physical education subjects with the basic technical material of chest pass operands in basketball subject in class XI IPS 3 SMAN 10 Luwu Can improve student learning outcomes. This is can be seen by the increasing results of reserarch that had done in cicle I and cicle II. Keywords: Learning outcomes, Chest pass Operands, Audio-Visual media.
