Abstract

ABSTRACT The role of guidance and counseling teachers in schools is as guide. Guidance and counseling teacher as one of the educators in the school. Guidance and counseling teachers in scools must in volve all parties including students, subject teachers, school principals and parents so that the guidance and counseling program can be carried out properly. Students’ learning motivation is not as strong. Some can receive material quickly and some are slow. Therefore, the role of the guidance and counseling teachers is very influential in it. Teachers also need to help guidance and counseling teachers to help how to grow student learning motivation. According to the results of observations with one of the students at MTs.Batusitanduk, information was abtained that many students did not understand the lesson and were less enthusiastic, especially in the field of stuy which they found difficult to understand in the learning process. For example, math lessons. This makes it difficult for them to do the assignments given by the teacher concerned. Keywords : the role of guidance and counseling teachers, learning motivation
