Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of motivation and work discipline on the performance of employees of PT. Suraco Jaya Abadi Motor Masamba Branch. This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The population in this study are all employees who work at PT. Suraco Jaya Abadi Motor Masamba Branch. The number of samples in this study amounted to 30 people. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical test, classical assumption test and multiple regression analysis. The research results show that: 1). Motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Suraco Jaya Abadi Motor Masamba Branch, 2). Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Suraco Jaya Abadi Motor Masamba Branch. The results of the F test show that motivation and work discipline simultaneously (together) have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Suraco Jaya Abadi Motor Masamba Branch. Work motivation and discipline have a contribution or influence on employee performance variables of 74.10%, while the remaining 25.90% are influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
