Abstract

ABSTRACT The Effect of Recruitment and Selection on Employee Performance in Village Offices in Latimojong District, By: Nurcaya Haedar Sapar The research objective was to determine the effect of recruitment and selection on employee performance in village offices in the Latimojong sub-district. In applying these objectives, the SSS version 22 statistical method was used. By using multiple linear regression analysis, partial test (t test) and simultaneous test (f test). Based on the results of the analysis regarding the influence between recruitment and selection on employee performance in the village office in Latimojong sub-district, it is known that there is a positive and significant influence between recruitment and selection on employee performance of an amount. 0.01 <0.05 and the value of t count 2.531> 2.034 t table. And the sig value for the influence of the selection variable on employee performance is 0.00 <0.05 and the t value is 3.129> 2.034 t table. So it can be concluded that recruitment and selection both have an effect on the performance of employees in village offices in Latimojong sub-district. Furthermore, from the results of testing the second hypothesis, it turns out that the most dominant variable affecting employee performance is the selection variable. The reason is that the selection process has the largest t-count value when compared to the recruitment variable as for the suggestions that can be given in relation to the results of the study, namely to apply more recruitment and selection methods to performance and employees in Village offices in Latimojong sub-district pay more attention to the application of appropriate employees. with competencies where each employee can complete their work, and it is recommended that in the application of the recruitment and selection methods for employee performance in the village office, Latimojong sub-district, it is necessary to maintain or further develop the recruitment and selection methods that have been applied so far.
