Abstract

Within the scope of society to easily organize and manage their finances is something that is very import. Because most people who work use technology that has developed rapidly at this time. Poor financial behavior will reduce one’s level off success in life. The economy at the community level has a major impact on the process of managing personal finances. Therefore, it is important to manage finances so that we can meet additional needs without disrupting finances. Even with all the sophistication of technology, it can also interfere with us in the process of managing finances at this time. This study aims to find out how people’s opinions in managing their finances with their understanding and knowlegde. Sampling used os non�probability sampling. In this study, we used a questionnaire that was distributed online to the people in the city of palaopo and a sample of 160 respondents. And testing the hypothesis using the path analysis technique. The results of this study found that financial technology has a direct effect on financial behavior, locul of control mediates the relationship between financial technoogy and financial behavior.
