Abstract
This study aims (1) to determine whether there is an effect of arm strength on rowing athletes in Palopo City. (2) To find out whether there is an effect of leg strength on the ability of rowing athletes in Palopo City. (3) To find out whether there is an effect of arm strength and leg strength on the ability of rowing athletes in Palopo City. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research. The sample in this study were rowing athletes from Palopo City, totaling 12 people. The results of this study indicate that (1) There is a significant effect of arm strength on the rowing ability of rowing athletes in Palopo City by 59.5%. (2) There is a significant effect of leg strength on the rowing ability of rowing athletes in Palopo City by 58.2%. (3) There is a significant effect of arm strength and leg strength on the rowing ability of rowing athletes in Palopo City by 84.8%. Keywords: Arm Strength, Leg Strength, Rowing Ability
