Abstract
ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to determine the role of the palm oil company PT. Jas Mulia in imroving the walfare of the people of Minanga Tallu Village Sukamaju Subdistrict North Luwu Utara District. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. There are two data sources used by researchers, namely primary data and secandary data with data collection tecniques using library research methods and field reserch consisiting ofobservation,interviews and documentation as for data anlysis in this research using inductive,deductive,and comparative tecniques theresearch results show that the company`s role in recruiting employees from the community around the company can improve the economic welfare off the community in orderto provide employment opportunities to equalize community income and improve the quality of helath services in Minanga Tallu Village Sukamaju Subdistrict North Luwu Utara District. ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran perusahaan kelapasawit PT Jas Mulia dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa Minanga Tallu Keecamatan Sukamaju Kabupaten Luwu Utara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif sumber data yang digunakan oleh peneliti ada dua yaiti data primer dan data sekunder dengan tehnik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan metode penelitian pustaka dan penelitian lapangan yang terdiri dari observasi, wawancar, dan dokumentasi. Adapun analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tehnik deduktif, induktif, dan komparatif.dari hasil penelitian menunujukkan bahwa peran perusahaan d merekrut karyawan dari masyarakat sekitar perusahaan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat guna menyediakan lapangan pekerjaan untuk dalam pemerataan pendapatan masyarakat dan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan di desa Minanga Tallu Kecamatan Sukamaju Kabupaten Luwu Utara
