Abstract
The aim of the research is to determine the effect of hanging ball exercises on the smash accuracy of Bua Raga Fc sepak takraw athletes. The method used is a Pretest-Posttest Design, which involves giving a pretest before the treatment and a posttest afterward to the experimental group. The subjects are all Bua Raga Fc sepak takraw athletes, totaling 10 people. The research instrument used is a sepak takraw smash test. The data analysis technique includes descriptive analysis, data normality test, homogeneity test, and paired sample t-test at a significance level of α = 0.05. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant effect of hanging ball exercises on the smash accuracy of Bua Raga Fc sepak takraw athletes, with a calculated t-value of 11.769 > table t-value of 2.228 and a sig. (2-tailed) result of 0.000 < 0.05. The average pretest smash accuracy score of Bua Raga Fc sepak takraw athletes is 9.30, and the average posttest smash accuracy score is 14.40, with a difference of 5.1 between the groups. The conclusion is that there is a significant effect of hanging ball exercises on the smash accuracy of Bua Raga Fc sepak takraw athletes.
