Abstract

The profit-sharing system of fishermen aims to find out the mechanism and analyze the income of a fisherman. This research aims to reveal and explore the profit-sharing system of fishermen on the coast of Palopo City. Using phenomenological method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participant observation, documentation, and audiovisual or recording techniques. Researchers were directly involved in interviews and observations and acted as participant observers in this study. The results showed that the fishermen's profitsharing system was divided into two parts, the first part for the business owner/ship owner, the second part for the fishermen's wages. The fishermen's work contract is not carried out in physical form but applies a system of trust and mutual love contained in Bugis philosophy, namely reso, pesse, sipakalebbi and sipamase-mase. The implication of this research is the importance of making a work contract for fishermen so that the profit sharing system can be carried out properly without harming either party.Keywords: Profit Sharing System, Fishermen, PhenomenologyAbstrakSistem bagi hasil nelayan bertujuan untuk mengetahui mekanisme dan menganalisis tentang pendapatan seorang nelayan. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dan menggali tentang sistem bagi hasil pada nelayan di pesisir Kota Palopo. Menggunakan metode fenomenologi dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, pengamatan partisipasi, pendokumentasian, dan teknik audiovisual atau perekaman. Peneliti terlibat langsung dalam wawancara dan observasi serta berperan sebagai pengamat partisipan dalam penelitian ini. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem bagi hasil nelayan terbagi menjadi dua bagian, bagian pertama untuk pemilik usaha/pemilik kapal, bagian kedua untuk upah nelayan. Kontrak kerja nelayan tidak dilakukan dalam bentuk fisik tetapi menerapkan sistem kepercayaan dan saling mengasihi yang terdapat dalam filosofi bugis, yaitu reso, pesse, sipakalebbidan sipamase-mase. Implikasi dari penelitian ini pentingnya pembuatan kontrak kerja bagi nelayan agar sistem bagi hasilnya dapat dilakukan dengan baik tanpa merugikan salah satu pihak.Kata kunci: Sistem Bagi Hasil, Nelayan, Fenomenologi
