Abstract
Abstract: This study aims to determine and test whether the level of education and skills affects the unemployment rate in North Luwu Regency. The data collection method in this study is a questionnaire method, which is to distribute questionnaires that will be filled in or answered by respondents. Respondents in this study were 60 people in North Luwu Regency who were looking for work. To manage and analyze the data obtained and to make research conclusions, quantitative analysis with multiple linear regression analysis techniques is used which aims to obtain a comprehensive picture of the relationship between variables. The test results show that the level of education has a significant effect on the level of unemployment in North Luwu Regency, skills do not affect the unemployment rate in North Luwu Regency. The predictive ability of these variables on the unemployment rate in North Luwu Regency is 82%, while the rest is influenced by other factors from outside.
