Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Work Life Balance and Skill Mapping on employee performance at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of Palopo City. This research applies a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 22. The study involves 111 employees as respondents selected through a census technique. The findings indicate that Work Life Balance and Skill Mapping are valid and reliable variables in measuring their relationship with employee performance. The results of the t-test show that both Work Life Balance and Skill Mapping have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, the F-test confirms that these variables simultaneously influence employee performance significantly. The coefficient of determination demonstrates that Work Life Balance and Skill Mapping contribute substantially to explaining variations in employee performance. This study offers empirical evidence on the importance of balancing work and personal life and aligning employee competencies with job roles to enhance organizational performance in the public sector. The findings provide practical implications for management in designing policies that support employee well-being and competency development to improve performance outcomes.
