Abstract

This study aims to determine the function of the Village Consultative Body in Balubu Village, Belopa District, Luwu Regency and to find out about the factors that influence the role and function of the Village Consultative Body in the implementation of development in Balubu Village. . The research lasted for about 1 month and is located in Balubu Village, Belopa District, Luwu Regency. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method, in which the data collection process is carried out through observation, documentation study, literature study and interviews with informants who are considered to have the potential to provide information about the role of the Village Consultative Body in the development planning process in Balubu Village. From the results of the research that has been carried out, the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in Balubu Village has carried out its functions and duties properly as a working partner of the Village Head and also accommodates and channels the aspirations of the community so that the development planning desired by the community is created.
