Abstract

The sustainable implementation of Green Human Resource Management and a good working environment are very important in supporting the running of organizational tasks and activities, especially in local government agencies. This study aims to determine the influence of Green Human Resource Management and the Work Environment on the performance of employees at the Palopo City Environmental Service, both partially and simultaneously. This type of research is quantitative. The data collection method was carried out through filling out a 1-5 point Likert scale questionnaire and then testing was carried out using the SPSS application. The population in this study consisted of 143 employees, while the sample number was 59 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. The analysis techniques used include validity test, reliability test, descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, t test, f test and determination coefficient test. The results of this study show that: 1) there is a positive and significant influence of Green Human Resource Management on employee performance, 2) there is a positive but insignificant influence of the work environment on employee performance, and 3) simultaneously, Green Human Resource Management and the work environment affect employee performance at the Palopo City Environmental Office. The implications of the results of this study show that increasing the implementation of Green Human Resource Management must be a priority in the HR management policy at the Environment Agency, because it has been proven to be able to improve employee performance in a sustainable manner.
