Abstract

This study aims to determine whether leadership style and work discipline have an effect on employee performance at PT. Midi Utama Indonesia Tbk Palopo Branch, Wara Timur District. The sample in this study amounted to 40 employees. The approach used is a quantitative approach. The method of analysis in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is no positive and significant influence between leadership style on employee performance. Then the work discipline variable has a positive and significant influence on the performance of the employees of PT. Midi Utama Indonesia Tbk Palopo Branch, Wara Timur District. Meanwhile, simultaneously leadership style and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The value of Adjusted R Square ( ) obtained is 0.288 or 28.8 percent, meaning that the variable leadership style and work discipline has an influence of 28.8 percent on the employee performance variable while the rest (100% - 28.8% = 71, 2%) influenced by other variables outside of this study.
