Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is whether safety and health have a positive effect on the performance of officers at the Palopo City Fire and Rescue Service. Based on these results, this study aims to determine how much influence occupational safety and health has on the performance of officers at the Palopo City Fire and Rescue Service. This type of research is quantitative. The sample in this study amounted to 71 people. Data collection techniques through questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical test and classical assumption test. The results of the analysis using multiple linear regression showed that the safety variable (X1) had a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y) at the Palopo City Fire and Rescue Service. This is indicated by the calculated T value of 3,537 with a significant level of 0.001. The results of the analysis using multiple linear regression showed that the Health variable (X2) had a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y) at the Palopo City Fire and Rescue Service. This is indicated by the calculated T value of 3,153 with a significant level of 0.002. Because the value of T count> T table for each variable, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence of occupational safety and health variables on employee performance at the Palopo City Fire and Rescue Service.
