Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between training and career development on employee performance. Training is a systematic process of the organization to develop individual skills, abilities, knowledge or attitudes that can change employee behavior to achieve company goals that have been set. Career development is a continuous process that individuals go through through personal efforts in order to realize the goals of career planning that are adapted to organizational conditions. Employee performance is the result of an assigned job in an organization or company. This research is a type of quantitative research. The sampling technique used is full sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire while the data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that: training has a significant effect on employee performance at PT. Mandiri Utama Finance Palopo City Branch. Career development has a significant effect on employee performance. Training and career development together have a significant effect on employee performance at PT.
