Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of business location and types of merchandise partially or simultaneously on the income of small traders in Belawa Market, Malangke District, North Luwu Regency. Data were obtained by distributing research questionnaires to 70 respondents who were small traders at Belawa Market, Malangke District, North Luwu Regency. The collected data was then analyzed using the multiple linear regression analysis method using the SPSS program. The results show that for the business location variable, the t-count value is 2.099, which is greater than the t-table value, which is 1.996 and the significance is 0.040, which is smaller than 0.05, which indicates that the business location partially affects the income of small traders in Belawa Market, Malangke District. North Luwu Regency. For the type of merchandise variable, the t-count value is 7.226, greater than the t-table, which is 1.996 and a significance of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05, which indicates that the type of merchandise partially affects the performance of the Civil Service Police Unit employees of Palopo City. While simultaneously the location of the business and the type of merchandise affect the income of small traders in Belawa Market, Malangke District, North Luwu Regency with a large enough influence, namely 64% and the remaining 36% is influenced by other factors studied in this study.
