Abstract

Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah reward dan punishment berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai Bappelitbangda Kab Luwu Utara. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan metode angket kuesioner. Yaitu seluruh pegawai kantor Bappelitbangda yang berjumlah 40 responden. Pengumpulan data berlangsung selama 3 hari, dimulai pada jumat, 23 desember dengan penyebaran kuesioner sampai dengan penarikan kuesioner pada senin, 26 desember 2022 berlokasi dikantor Bappelitbangda Kabupaten Luwu Utara Jl Simpurusiang No 27 Gedung Gabungan Dinas Lt.3. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Teknik Struktural Equation Model. Berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian reward memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, dapat dilihat dari hasilnya yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai T statistik menunjukkan nilai signifikan hitung reward lebih kecil dari taraf 5% demikian pula punishment memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara langsung terhadap kinerja pegawai dimana hasil dari nilai T statistik menunjukkan nilai hitung punishment lebih kecil dari taraf 5%. Hasil ini mengungkapkan bahwa berapapun reward dan punishment yang diterima pegawai itu sangat berpengaruh pada kinerja pegawai khususnya di kantor Bappelitbangda Kab. Luwu Utara. Kata Kunci: Reward, Punishment, Kinerja Pegawai. Abstract In this study, the method used was a quantitative method. This study aims to find out whether rewards and punishments affect employee performance. The population of this study was all employees of Bappelitbangda, North Luwu Regency. The sampling technique used questionnaire questionnaire method. Namely all employees of the Bappelitbangda office, totaling 40 respondents. Data collection lasted for 3 days, starting on Friday, December 23 with the distribution of questionnaires until the withdrawal of the questionnaire on Monday, December 26, 2022 located at the Bappelitbangda office of North Luwu Regency, Jl. Simpurusiang No. 27, Joint Building Dinas Lt.3. Hypothesis testing using Structural Technique Equation Model. Based on the results of the research, rewards have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, it can be seen from the results that show that the statistical T value shows a significant value of calculating rewards smaller than the 5% level as well as punishment has a positive and significant direct influence on employee performance where the results of the statistical T value show a punishment calculation value smaller than the 5% level. This result revealed that no matter how much reward and punishment the employee received, it greatly affected the performance of employees, especially in the Bappelitbangda office of North Luwu Regency.
