Abstract

This research aims to improve cognitive abilities through learning using nature-based media in group A at Masilara Sassa Kindergarten, North Luwu Regency. The problem at Masilara Sassa Kindergarten, North Luwu Regency, is that children's cognitive abilities have not developed well. The method used in this research was classroom action research (PTK) with a total of 19 children, data collection techniques used were observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this research are quantitative analysis techniques and qualitative analysis techniques. The results obtained from increasing cognitive abilities through nature-based media in group A children at Masilara Sassa Kindergarten, North Luwu Regency showed that in pre-action cognitive abilities had not developed 47.7%, in cycle I of action cognitive abilities began to develop 61.3% and in The actions in cycle II experienced an increase in very good development of 82.4, so this research ended in cycle II because the child's development had reached very good development.
