Abstract

Group guidance services in guidance and counseling. Group guidance is intended to prevent the development of problems or difficulties in each group member. Group guidance services also become a learning community where rol of social standards is formed related to work and achievement. This study aimed to find out the effect of group guidance services on increasing student learning motivation at MTs Negeri palopo. This study used a guantitative approach that aims to determine the effectiveness or influence between the independent variable and the dependent variable. Respondents in this study were 60 students of class VIII MTs Negeri Palopo. The results of this study show that there is a significant effect of 0,002 < 0,05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Tcount is greater than ttabel (1.677 > 1,488), so it can be concluded that there is a significant effect between group guidance services on student learning motivation.
