Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to examine and analyze individual characteristics and work discipline that affect employee performance at PT. Bank Sulselbar Masamba Branch. This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The population in this study were all employees who worked at PT. Bank SulSelBar Masamba. The number of samples in this study amounted to 35 people. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical test, classical assumption test and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that: 1). Individual characteristics have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Bank SulSelBar Masamba Branch, 2). Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Bank SulSelBar Masamba Branch. 3). The results of the F test show that the characteristics and work discipline simultaneously (together) have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Bank SulSelBar Masamba Branch. Individual characteristics and work discipline have a contribution or influence on employee performance variables by 43.20%, while the remaining 56.80% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Keywords: Individual Characteristics, Work Discipline, Employee Performance INTISARI Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis karakteristik individu dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Bank Sulselbar Cabang Masamba. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan yang bekerja di PT. Bank Sulselbar Cabang Masamba. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 35 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1). Karakteristik individu berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Bank Sulselbar Cabang Masamba 2). Disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Bank Sulselbar Cabang Masamba. 3). Hasil uji F menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik dan disiplin kerja secara simultan (bersama-sama) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Bank Sulselbar Cabang Masamba. Karakteristik individu dan disiplin kerja mempunyai kontribusi atau berpengaruh terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan sebesar 43,20%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 56,80% dipengaruhi oleh variabel-variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.
