Abstract

ABSTRACT The problem in this study was the student learning outcomes in basketball material still low. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the application of audio-visual media in physical education subjects namely basic techniques of dribbling the ball can improve student learning outcomes of SMA Negeri 10 Luwu. The method used was a qualitative approach with the type of classroom action research (CAR). The focus of this research was to improve student learning outcomes on the basic techniques of dribbling in playing basketball. The research subjects were 35 students of class X SMA Negeri 10 Luwu. Data collection techniques were observation, documentation and tests. Data were analyzed by qualitative data analysis. The results of the research in the cycle I show that the success indicator has not been achieved with a success percentage of 67%. In the cycle II, the learning outcomes have reached the success indicator with a percentage of 80%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that student learning outcomes through audio-visual media in physical education learning basic techniques of dribbling students at SMA Negeri 10 Luwu increased.
